| EASY SETTING | The easy setting in Contra 3 doesn't even allow you to play the whole game, so there's no ending here. You do get a message to choose a harder difficulty though. |
| NORMAL SETTING | The normal setting in Contra 3 let's you play the whole game, but then tells you to choose a harder difficulty. The only setting that really gives an ending is the hard setting. |
| HARD SETTING | 
The Hero(s) escape from Red Falcon's underground base just as it explodes. We then get to see a few pics re-capping the whole war, and the hero is dropped to face a cheering crowd. |
