The Japanese version has a scene where your commando runs into his helicopter.
	The helicopter takes off as the island blows up, whisking you to safety, Credits role.

In the Japanese version, if you hold down Start and Select before the credits at the end of the game, you'll get an additional message. Thanks to Johnny Undaunted for the translation:

"Foolish Earthlings! You think you got away with destroying us? We will take over all of Earth's bases and by the time you realize it, it will be too late. Red Falcon will live forever!"
