Oddly enough, this game was only released in America. At one point, Konami was planning to release a Famicom game called Arc Hound in November of 1991. This is actually Contra Force - so this isn't a real Contra game after all. Thanks to Rob Strangman and Hotaka for the picture.

Oddly enough, in the waning years of the NES, there were many games Konami made that never came out in their native country of Japan, including Snake's Revenge, The Lone Ranger, Mission: Impossible, Base Wars, and this.
